Template licence
초안 — 법률 자문이 아니며, 상점 개점 전에 검토될 예정입니다.
This is a summary of the licence file (LICENSE.md) that ships inside every template. If the two differ, the file in your download applies. A shorter, plain-language version is on the licence overview page.
One purchase = one licence, for one buyer: a person or a company.
You may
- Build an unlimited number of websites with the template, for yourself or for your clients.
- Change, extend and translate the template in any way.
- Use the websites commercially, with or without a fee to your client.
- Hand a finished website to a client. The client may keep running and editing that website.
- Keep the template’s source files in private repositories and on private hosting.
- Keep using your websites for as long as you like. The licence does not expire.
You may not
- Resell, sublicense, share, rent or give away the template itself, modified or not, as a template, theme, starter kit or boilerplate, free or paid.
- Publish the template’s source files in a public place: a public repository, a public download link, a file-sharing site. (The pages and files your website serves to visitors are fine.)
- Put the template into a website builder, generator or service where other people can create sites from it.
- Present the template as your own original template or theme.
- Give your client the right to reuse the template for other websites. A client who wants to build their own sites with it needs their own purchase. The same applies to a separate company or freelancer working beside you.
Fonts, pictures, names
- Fonts keep their own licences (SIL Open Font License 1.1, free for commercial use). They are listed in each template’s
LICENSE.md. - The sample pictures in a template may be used only as part of a website built with it, for example to show the layout to a client or until your own pictures are ready. You may not sell or share them on their own: not as stock, prints, wallpapers, social media content or inside another template.
- The studios, games, people and projects in the demo content are invented. Replace them before you publish.
- Your own pictures, logos and texts stay yours. Folio Nine claims no rights in them.
Updates and support
Updates published for the version you bought are included. Support is by email on a reasonable-effort basis; see the support page.
Refunds
Payment and refunds are handled by our payment provider. Refunds follow the terms shown on the purchase page at checkout.
No warranty
The template is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We test every template before release and fix reported problems, but we cannot guarantee that it fits every purpose.
Ending the licence
The licence ends automatically if you break these terms. You then stop using the template and delete your copies. Websites already delivered to clients in good faith may stay online.
